Message Parameters

• Message Destination:

  • Node ID
  • Layer in that node.
  • Protocol in that layer (optional).
  • Instance (Interface) (optional).

• Message Event Type.

• Event specific parameters (called “info” area) for both packets and non-packet messages.

• Packet payload.

• Current header position.
